IV Drips are a method of delivering electrolytes, hydration and vitamins and minerals directly into the vein. The vitamins are mixed inside the bag of Intravenous Fluids and is administered directly into the blood stream via a small catheter. This method bypasses the digestive system allowing for 100% bioavailability, meaning efficient and more effective absorption. The full dose is available for immediate use by the cells.

There are many uses for IV Therapy. For people with complex medical conditions or concerns, we recommend you speak with your primary care doctor prior to receiving IV Therapy.
These conditions are but not limited to the following: Heart, Kidney or Liver Issues, Anti Coagulants, undergoing cancer treatment, history of fluid overload, under the care of a specialist.
It's very important that the client provides all medical history and is not dishonest during this time.
In some circumstances, in relation to any pre-existing medical conditions, we may require a letter of consent to proceed with an infusion from your treating doctor.
As with all medical procedures, IV therapy does have a degree of risk to consider.

There may be a slight pinch or discomfort initially when the needle is inserted, but it should fade quickly.
During the drip, you may feel a cooling sensation which is expected due to the fluid entering your vein, however sometimes the rate of the drip can cause discomfort- in this case simply make your Registered Nurse aware and the rate of the drip will be altered.
IV vitamin therapy is generally a safe process carried out by fully trained healthcare professionals. While side effects are extremely rare, when you have your IV drip consultation with our nursing team, it is imperative that you supply accurate and up to date medical information, including medical history and existing conditions, in order to minimise any potential risks.
-
The frequency of intravenous therapy depends entirely on your personal needs and health goals. While some clients benefit from an occasional health boost those requiring ongoing wellness maintenance due to specific health reasons might need more. Speak to our Registered Nurse to ensure a personalised approach to maximise results safely and within your budget.

Many factors contribute to the length of an appointment. Generally the whole process takes around 45-60 minutes.
However for people with difficult veins or small veins,
Depending on the amount of time needed to find vein and insert cannula
Size of your veins and cannula used. Big veins = express delivery. Little veins = may take longer as we do not use a machine to carry the fluid into the veins in order to avoid force and harm to the veins.
For NAD+ treatments, it ranges from 2-4 hours, depending on the dose and the individuals ability to tolerate the drip.

This can vary. The more deficient or depleted you are, the more immediate sense of recovery. Essentially, the worse of a state you start in, the more of an improvement you will notice.
Others may take longer to respond as they have been depleted for a long time – this is a part of their process to feeling better.

A Registered Nurse will arrive and setup the equipment. The IV Catheter is then inserted into the vein and connected to the bag. The drip will begin slow in order to monitor for any symptoms, once the first five minutes clear, the speed of infusion will be set by your body’s demand. Throughout the infusion you may sit back and relax on your phone, laptop, in front of the TV or talking to the RN, as long as the arm connected to the drip remains straight.
You will be closely monitored until the end of the infusion then the catheter will be removed and a pressure pad applied. After keeping pressure on the injection site for a minute you can resume your day as normal, just avoid heavy lifting with the arm used for an hour or so.
